Happy Happy, Joy Joy!

Nyaaaaa~! My bf is going with me to Japan ^-^ it wasn't for sure yet if he could come with us, but now it's official. Everything has been arranged now, paid the hotel and stuff. I am sooo excited! only 2 weeks to go! and it will be our first vacation together. How cool is that? =D I can't stop jumping around ^-^ I was really afraid that he couldn't come with us, and I kinda got disappointed because I felt the feeling that he couldn't come with us. But yaaay he's coming with me! Now I have even more motivation to work! The only thing that pisses me off right now is that my ipod is trippin' >< and I know, ipods do that but still T-T now I need to wait till my battery is low and that can take 2 days. I need my music! I haven't put my music on my laptop yet, 'cause my bf put it on a dvd and I have no idea which one since he gave me like 14 dvds. Too lazy to find out which one it is =P

And internet didn't work on my laptop the last couple of days. I wonder if it's because of the router here, or that my laptop is acting weird. If it happens again, I'll just go to the store like I was about to do.

ohyea and my little sister (in-law) gave me a cute hello kitty phonestrap ^-^ its so cute! its a HK bride!

Gosh, I have to buy souvenirs -_-=P I suck at that. I think my money will go to souvenirs instead of clothing haha. But only the people that have been nice to me get a souvenir >_> so that's only a feeeew haha. meanies!

Equilibrium

I saw the movie Equilibrium last night, and I didn't even know how to pronounce the name when I first read it. But now I do *nerdglasses on*. It's about a world, with people that have no feelings. Father (the creator of that world) was sick of all the war, hate, jealousy and bad feelings in the world that we're the cause of world and human destruction. So that's why he created a medicine (prozium) that erases emotion. So if you take it in, you will feel nothing. I have no idea how he convinced all those people to do it, but okay.

There is a cleric (John Preston), and his job is to erase and burn memories that might trigger people to wanting to feel. Things like paintings, music, valuable stuff. He even burned the Mona Lisa =/ he was such an ass. But YAY! He turned into a good guy. I don't know why, but he was curious towards emotion. So he started to stop taking prozium. He hid his medicine behind his bathroom mirror. Well, he had to do his job ofcourse, or else he would be suspicious. But then he was put in such a hard position! He had to kill some dogs, and one of the dogs ran to him, and was licking his face with his adorable puppy eyes. I was like: ''nooo dont kill him!! =(''. Haha seriously, from the moment you saw that supersweet puppy, you heard me: awww so cute! awww! awww look at his eyes! etc. Thank God that he didn't the kill the puppy.

Well, I don't want to spoil the whole movie, but I do recommend the movie! btw, watch the son of the cleric. He's scary! =/

But my point of writing this was.. Don't you think the world would be so boring without emotions? If you see the movie, you can see that the people are so lifeless. It's a world without happiness and colour. I never want to live in a world like that.
What's the purpose of life if you can't feel? Isn't life about love, fun, friends and so much more? Ok sure, we also have hate, anger, irritation. But isn't that worth it? I NEED music, I NEED to love, I NEED affection. And if I have to have black emotions with it, so be it.

Okaaay, but I have to go to the Apple store now, 'cause my internet is not working >.< *sighs* lame.

Nana & Hachiko

Yesterday was my first day of working at the restaurant and it was fun ^-^ I had to make lots of saoto soup, and I didn't had to do much yet. I'm still a rookie =]. But I also had to do something I never thought I would EVER do. I had to clean the toilet! For people that don't know, I have an issue with cleaning bathrooms/toilets. I don't know, I just think it's gross T-T but luckily for me, the restaurant is clean and so was the toilet. Although I did put too much cleaning stuff in it. You see, I'm horrible. I can't even clean a toilet -_- I didn't read the description well, so I put a wholeee lot of that stuff in the toilet, but you only had to do a few drops. I hope nothing bad will happen =/ and otherwise I will hear it next week lolx.

But anyways, a friend of mine has rats and they are weeeird! =/ they are called Nana & Hachiko (or something like that) and they are both girls. But to me that Hachi-sumthin' is a guy so .. but that was not the point of my story. So they we're acting all weird in the night. Attacking each other, jumping around (literally), sort of shaking (not their booty >.<). And they we're in their cage btw, with no roof. But we just went to sleep. Suddenly in the middle of the night .... I felt the rat crawling over our blanket =| !! that scared the *bleeps* outta me! How the hell could that rat jump out of her frikkin cage ?! She has no bars that she could climb on so how the hell did she do that ?! She was out to kill us, I'm telling you! First she bit me in the finger, and now she was sneakin' up on us in the middle of the night towards our heads =/ they're evil man -_-

Ok, but I'm very tired so I am going to take a little nap =]

Frappuccino-accident

If you could read my mind today, you would've heard the longest nooo-slowmotion ever. I spilled a frikkin' frappuccino all over my bag today -_-'' with my laptop, ds, ipod, passport and everything in it. THIS is my kind of luck >< I am getting a headache from the smell. everything in my bag is frappuccinorized now. But ew! It also fell on the floor, and it looked like vomit >< gross. *sighs deeply*. SCREW STARBUCKS! yeah that's right, I don't like Starbucks. And I hate chocolate too!

A-ny-ways, I brought Kimberly to the airport just now. and she asked me to pimp her luggage bag, so I made some drawings =P click here for my masterpiece *ahum* haha. I was getting hungry when I looked at the cake & noodles T_T speaking of food, I haven't had breakfast yet. And it's already 2:14 PM. Time to scrunch down some cupnoodles!

9:36 PM omg I am turning into a food monster! A few years ago I couldn't even imagine myself eating a Big Mac, and now I am scrunching it down like its nothing. Last week, we we're going to watch a soccer game (don't ask) and we had to eat our mcdonalds meal in like 3/4 minutes. I ate a Big Mac, 6 chicken nuggets and some fries in that time! That is a record for me! =P and I even ate some rice with chicken after that. It may not seem a lot to other people, but it is for me =P small stomach. And I went to look for some jobs today, with no succes. Luckily I already found a job at a restaurant, and I am going to start this saturday. But I want to save more money for Japan so I am going to get a second job. This month it's going to be work work work!

Adorable Plushie! (^~^ )

*yawns deeply* I'm so tired T_T I hardly had any sleep last night, but luckily I didn't had a hard time waking up. I surprised myself with that! I thought that I would have to drag myself out of bed. Anyways, I didn't know that the bus chauffeurs weren't on a strike anymore, so I went with the bike. And with all my dorkiness, I accidentally bumped over a bike which caused a domino effect on the other bikes =P I was polite enough of course to put (one bike *cough*) it back to its place. And I don't know what the deallio was, but my bf and I weren't on the same page today! We we're damn pissed off of each other! I think the layers of stress needed to be expressed, and unfortunately we let it out on our date -_- *sighs* but we did make a happy picture! lolx haha so cute that he wrote down Meo and Cho (it's our nicknames for each other. it means cat & dog =P) I intend to make lots & lots of purikura when I get to Japan. I still need to find a cute book to put the pictures in. *yawns again* aww my little sister is going to HK today, so I am going over there (its 1:19 AM but ok =P) to see here before she leaves. I wanna go too! That's one of my destinations in the future I definitely wanna see! HK, Korea and Vietnam. But back to R'dam, I saw this too-cute plushie! I wanted to get it, but the one I wanted was a little bit, misformed? His legs and stuff we're on the wrong side. I will get it the next time, maybe they have a new one. But I gotta go now! ^^

Princess Kitchen, my butt!

I have a hard time sleeping this night, so I thought; let's play on the DS! My nintendog was not in the mood to play since it was late, so I decided to play Cooking Mama! Haven't played that in a long time. So I was excited to spice up my cooking skills a bit. (yeahyeah, people that know me are probably thinking: ''your skills? what skills?'' shut up) I started with making miso soup. I failed horribly at that. Ok ok, it's alright. Then I started to make pork cutlet. Burned that meat down. It can happen though, no biggy. But boiled rice ?! I even screwed up making RICE! I just have to admit, I am doomed, when it comes to the kitchen. I even admit that I would live of off microwave food if I didn't have my lovely mom to cook for me. Or just McDonalds and all the other fast-food industries. it's ridiculous, that I can't even make boiled rice in a game. All you had to do was: add rice & water, mix it up and turn the timer on. But nooo, that was to big of a task for Ms. Screw Up. I started to get really annoyed by the game, and I don't want to play it anymore. Burn you evil mama! that's for getting angry at me all those times, even though I tried my best! my dream of cooking some day are shred like a piece of paper .. in .. a paper shredder =/T_T''

My games are starting to bore me though, I was thinking to get Super Princess Peach. (click here for the commercial) You don't want to know how much i've pressed replay to see that commercial over and over again. It had me in his power -_- I even started to sing it whenever I saw the box in the store. I have a hard time now to not press the replay button. it's force is strong. *sigh* anyways, if you have suggestions which games I should get, let me know! As long as it's cute. Not some slice & dice game. I am going to try to sleep now, 'cause I am going to Rotterdam with my hubby today! And I have to wake up really early (omg haha I just typed: urly. loser!) wish me luck ^~^

Gigi, Love

Ahhh, l'amour! I am watching Gigi (1958) now on TCM, and it's a musical film. It's about a girl that doesn't understand why the people in Paris are always busy with love. That's all the people care about. love love love! The sister of her grandmother is trying to make a young lady out of her, but Gigi doesn't really seem to like it. But after time passes, she turns into a woman, and is not a little girl anymore. Old family friend Gaston falls in love with her and wants to marry her. She rejects him though, at first. I don't understand some things though. One moment he's angry, the other moment he asks Gigi's grandmother for her grandchild's hand (to marry). But it's a movie worth watching though. Next movie after the commercial: Casablanca. Ahh yes, the movie that's very popular but I've never seen it.

Now that I think about it, it's a shame that there isn't a lot of romance in the world anymore *sighs*. Walking in the park, with a basket and holding a picnic. Enjoying each others company in the sun, with home made muffins. How about sitting in the garden under a blanket, watching the stars and a lovely moon until you fall asleep? You hardly see that anymore. People forget romance because they're always so busy with work or other things. What happened with giving your girl a red rose? Girls nowadays want expensive gifts, like a cellphone or a necklace. I like simplicity in life.

Japan, Puroland .. Here we come!

YAAAAY! =D that's the only thing I can say right now. I'm almost going to Japan! I never felt so excited for a vacation! Even though I am only going for a week, it's worth the 12 hour flight! We are planning our schedule today, and we kinda know what we're going to do. We're gonna go to Disneyland, some sight-seeing, PUROLAND <3, (dream come true? =P), Kyoto, and many more but I forgot. My friend and I are going to get a job next week, and we will work hard to spend lots & lots of money! he-he. It's kinda unfair, they make so many Sanrio stores .. and you want to buy sooo many things (or just everything), but you don't have all the money in the world, ofcourse. But ok, I don't need a HK toaster though haha. FYI, I even saw a hello kitty banana on the internet (=_= )'' a bit over the top, don't you think? well anyways, I gotta go to a bday party now. Sex & the City, the movie; Ladies night!

First of all, I would like to say that it's better to not read this if you haven't seen the movie yet, because there are going to be some spoilers in it!

So I just got back from the cinema, and with my big mac (I'm loving it!), a bowl of tiramisu-vanilla icecream on my side and Norah Jones singing on the background, I feel excited to write about how it went.

Finally! After waiting for weeks and weeks, it was finally ladies night! The movie we women all have been waiting for, has hit the cinema's!

One moment I was worrying about which dress to wear, the next moment I was rushing off to the cinema because I was going to be late. But luckily, I wasn't the late birdie! My friends arrived there a few minutes later than me. Well, It started off with a glass of Tia Maria on the house, which I kindly rejected. I have no idea why though, I guess because I'm not a big fan of alcohol. Action reaction! And I lost my friends for a few minutes, because one was looking for good seats, and the other one was getting popcorn. Which was a waste of money, because we got popcorn for free. But we didn't knew that. And with my bad eye-sight, I couldn't find them anywhere! Thank God for glasses, they saved the day! Who knows how long it could take to find them between those hundreds of (tall) women. For a girl of 64 inches like me, it's hard to look over those women, WITH their high heels on. I decided to wear flat shoes, since I was afraid to fall off those very long stairs. Didn't do me any good! I had no idea that there we're going to be so many women. Well, 98% women, 2% male? Yes, I saw some guys out there. It was supposed to be ladies night, but ok, I don't mind. As long as they're having fun!

While waiting for the doors to open, we got really excited, and couldn't wait for the movie to start! After 15/20 minutes of waiting, we finally could go in! We got ourselves great seats, and another free drink! They gave away prizes to win, announced by a charming host. Of course I didn't win anything, because well .. that's just my kind of luck. And there we're a few technical problems, which caused the delay of the movie. But that didn't bother me!

And after a long time waiting, I saw Carrie Bradshaw walking down the street in a gorgeous dress! Everyone clapped and cheered as the movie began. It started off with a little recap of the serie, and you saw some little flashbacks of how everyone was back then. I'm not going to spoil the whole movie, but there were some good moments. Mr. Big & Carrie found a gorgeous apartment to die for, and he build her a huge walk-in closet. Seriously, when she opened the doors of that closet, you heard everybody: *oooh*. Everyone's mouth fell open. Of course, we we're all very jealous. And everyone felt sad when Big wasn't planning on showing up on his wedding. Ohyeah! haha and everyone laughed so hard when Charlotte got angry. You have to see for yourself. Well anyways, overall the movie was great! And really worth watching. Not smart to take your boyfriend to that movie though. He would probably be bored.

At the end of the movie, we we're given a goodiebag! We we're really curious what was inside. We got a John Frieda shampoo, Magnum lip gloss, Nivea deodorant, and some other stuff. Cool huh? I'm glad that I went, and all you girls should really see the movie !! It's worth your time.
